Our Raised Bed and Allotment Mix is a blend of Norfolk topsoil and peat-free compost. This product provides a high-quality, growing media to kick-start plant development, aid moisture retention and make the soil easier to work with.
It is especially great for raise beds and borders, as it provides a high-quality, growing media to kick-start plant development, aid moisture retention and has no stones or clumps, making the soil easier to work with.
A number of suppliers sell topsoils that are reconsituted from materials such as vegetable washings. This topsoil is carefully sourced and 100% natural. It is minimally processed by being screened to 10mm to remove the majority of larger pebbles and stones.
